Ode to POAS

I will not pee on a stick

‘Cause it might be just a trick

How will I know if it’s true

If the test is not yet due?

I will not pee

on a stick

or in a cup

or just for kicks.

Will not!  Will not!  Will not pee

For now I must wait and see.

Not in the loo

nor with a friend

not in the zoo

nor looney bin.

Not on a boat

nor toilet near

not on a goat

’cause that’s just weird.

Will not!  Will not! Will not pee

As the stick’s not yet for me.

Be strong! Don’t POAS yet! It becomes a vicious cycle. Wait til CD 27 at least.

I should give credit, it is my poas version of Green Eggs and Ham! 🙂 My brain is going to mush. I actually woke up with most of it already in my head. Better than the crazy Clomid dreams, I have to admit!

If you made this into a cartoon book a’la doctor seuss I’d buy it and put it next to my nightstand. LOVELY poem. (Did you write it? If so WOW).

I did write it! Well, my head wrote it and I just typed it down. It did take a while to think of something that kinda rhymed with “wierd.” 🙂 The thought of it illustrated is a little scary …

Are you a writer? I ask because you said, “well my head wrote it.” lol. That’s how I feel when I get inspired. I don’t feel like *I* wrote it, it just came.

LOL definitely not a writer! I just woke up with it running around in my head. I actually work in a medical laboratory for a cancer treatment center. I probably owe the poem to a lack of sleep + a good case of TTC OCD. 🙂
